Dr. Frederic J. Miscoe Learning Center

and Executive Suites

Here’s another great reason to purchase your equipment from Bryanne Enterprises, Inc. The Dr. Frederic J. Miscoe Learning Center and Executive Suites is now open.

A state-of-the-art education is provided to every customer in our brand new ½ million dollar learning center. A true amphitheater, each student has a bird’s eye view of each therapy being instructed. Video and power-point presentations are delivered theater style in High Definition to a 14X12 feet flat screen including an enhanced Bose powered THX-Theater Surround Sound system. Up to 54 students are kept comfortable all day long in plush high-back chairs that are fully adjustable. A large break-out area is incorporated for advanced hands-on learning.

One of the most exciting innovations incorporated in the learning center is a fully integrated audience response system that allows each student to interact directly with the presentation. This system allows our instructors to poll the audience at any time and get real-time responses. Each student is given a device very similar to a remote control that allows them to answer multiple choice, true/false or perceptive questions. Each response is instantly tallied and the answers are displayed in percentages, and then the correct answer is highlighted. Student responses are anonymous to facilitate better interaction. Students can also be grouped into teams with prizes at the end of the day for the winners. This interactive learning system adds a lot of fun to your day and even lets you know how others feel about certain topics as a group.

If all this weren’t enough, a limited number of tastefully decorated executive suites are available for overnight guests and small group learning retreats. Each room features a queen size bed, individual bath, cable TV, desk and sofa. Amenities include individual coffee service, hair dryer, and iron.

We also spoil our customers with terrific catered food. All that hands on training can work up a fierce appetite! A continental breakfast is served in the morning prior to the beginning of each seminar, with snacks and refreshments provided during the breaks. A fantastic 3 course lunch is provided including dessert.

The Dr. Frederic J. Miscoe Learning Center is conveniently located just 20 minutes in either direction from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Bedford and Somerset exits.

Bring your family along. While you are learning, they can visit local attractions including: Seven Springs Mt. Resort, Hidden Valley Resort, Blue Knob Resort, Laurel Mountain Ski Resort, Flight 93 Memorial, Johnstown Incline Plane and Flood Memorial, Horseshoe Curve, DelGrosso’s amusement park, and Altoona Railroader’s Museum. If you like the outdoors, then this is your paradise! Located atop the spectacular Laurel Highlands, there are two eighteen hole golf courses, including Arnold Palmer’s first designed course near the Indian Lake Lodge and Restaurant. Hunting and fishing opportunities abound, with hiking and biking opportunities along the Allegheny Trail just minutes away. If you like off-road adventures then bring your ATV or motorcycle and visit the State’s newest OHV park featuring over 100 miles of groomed trails just 5 minutes from our facility. Four ski resorts are within 15-45 minutes.

You deserve a lot more when you purchase new equipment and therapies for your practice. Bryanne Enterprises, Inc. delivers!

Frederic James Miscoe, D.C.
1931-2003

Dedication Ceremony 27 October 2005

Today we dedicate this facility in the memory
of Dr. Frederic J. Miscoe.

Dr. Miscoe was a practicing Chiropractor for
nearly a half century in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
After graduating from the
National Chiropractic College he began his practice in
Alma Hall, the original headquarters of the American Red Cross,
started there shortly after the devastating Johnstown
Flood of 1889 which killed over 3,000 people.

Dr. Miscoe practiced at his Franklin Street location in Johnstown
until moving in the early 1970’s to his newly built clinic in
Geistown. At one time he operated two additional offices in the West
End of Johnstown and another in Central City.

A practitioner equally devoted to his patients and
his profession, Dr. Miscoe was an active member
and served as District Director and Chairman of the Board
of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Society. Dr. Miscoe was
an active participant in the fight for the scope-of-practice and
insurance equality that Chiropractors enjoy today.

A decorated soldier, Dr. Miscoe served his country during the
KoreanWar as a U.S. Army artillery officer , then as
Company Commander of Bravo Company, 1st
Battalion, 103rd Armor, 28th Infantry Division. He
continued to serve in the PA Army National Guard
until retiring in 1991.

Dr. Miscoe was an avid pilot and golfer who loved to hunt and
fish and was known to shamelessly smoke his pipe in
crowded rooms and upon occasion, drink good Kentucky
bourbon whiskey. He was well known for his blunt honesty and
had the courage of his convictions.

A devoted husband and father, Dr. Miscoe is survived
by his wife Constance and his three sons, Frederic J.
Miscoe, II, D.C., Michael Miscoe and Geoffrey Miscoe.

Dr. Miscoe was tragically injured while adjusting a patient,
then suffering complications which led to his untimely death in
the spring of 2003 at the age of 72.

He was buried with full military honors at the Fort Indiantown
Gap National Cemetery.

Dear Geoff,

Thanks so much for including me in your special day last week.  I was very flattered, but very humbled by the kind words you spoke about me.

Your Dad would be very proud of what you have accomplished in such a short period of time.  Most importantly, knowing your Dad, he would be most proud of how you have achieved your goals to this point: with integrity and supreme customer service to the Doc’s you service.

The real focus Geoff, is no matter how big your business gets, never lose sight of the principles that you utilized when you started the business from day one.

Best Wishes,

Dr. Dennis Ridenour

Geoff & Lori,

Thank you so much for including me in the celebration of the opening of the new learning center.  It is a very impressive facility and I am sure will benefit many people directly and indirectly as well.  It was wonderful to get a taste of what you do and experience your passion for helping others.

May God continue to bless you in all you do.

Dear Geoff & Lori,

I can hardly express my heart-felt gratitude towards you both for allowing me to attend the dedication of the Dr. Frederic J. Miscoe Learning Center this past week.  I’m honored, as everyone was, to have been a part of the celebration of your father’s life and legacy.

The addition of being recognized during your presentation was unexpected, and greatly appreciated.  I can only hope and pray that my contribution to the cause is a fraction as significant as your has been.

I’m grateful to both of you for your guidance and support in my efforts toward the betterment and professionalism of the chiropractic profession…in whatever way I can contribute.  I’m proud to be associated with your company!  Thank you again for allowing me to celebrate the occasion.

God Bless,

Geoff, Lori & Bryanne,

I did not have a chance to say thank you for the invitation to your company back in October but I wanted to say THANK YOU and I was extremely impressed with what Bryanne Enterprises has accomplished.

With the visit came new insight on an extremely “well-oiled machine” and how a business can be successfully operated in this industry.  The experience will always be remembered and appreciated.

Thanks again for the opportunity to understand and see first hand your operation from the inside and I hope you all have a safe and prosperous Thanksgiving Holiday.

Best regards,

Brent Pickett
