Doctor Success Stories

1.  Dr. Michael Dunigan of Shamokin Dam Chiropractic submitted the following case study: A 31 year old female presented after being beaten by a mental patient; patient was bent over and had her head shoved with great force between her legs. Patient was diagnosed with a stretched spinal cord, stenosis, with moderate to severe paresthesia, and tingling in both feet, and numbness in both hands. Prior to decompression therapy patient underwent approx. 8 months conservative passive and active Chiropractic treatments with little improvement. Cervical decompression was initiated. Initially 22 lbs max. with a rest poundage at 10 lbs. Hold time was 35 seconds with rest time of 20 seconds. 2 progressive ramps and 1 regressive ramp. Max lbs. increased to 25 after tolerance was measured. After initial trial the tingling in feet has disappeared and paresthesia symptoms have lessened. Patient can now walk normally up and down the steps and overall functional capacity has greatly improved. Patient able to go on vacation.

2.  Dr. Shannon Smith of Smith Chiropractic Associates submitted the following case study:  A 22 year old female gymnast complaining of constant pain and inability to do aerobics and normal gymnastics was being treated with flexion distraction and under constant supportive care. Patient presented with a grade 2 moderate L-5 Spondylolisthesis. Patient underwent a trial of decompression treatments utilizing the Chattanooga Triton Decompression System. Utilizing Dr. Kennedy’s lumbar protocol #1 with a Decompression setting of a 40 second pull and a 25 second relaxation, minimum pull at 30 lbs and maximum pull at 1/2 body weight; 2 progressive ramp ups and 2 regressive ramp downs; for 12 minutes per session; 3 sessions per week for 4 weeks. At the end of the trial period the patient is able to perform ADL’s and can now do aerobics and normal gymnastics pain free. Patient has had no flare-ups. Patient supportive care has been reduced by 2/3rd the previous level prior to decompression therapy.

3.  Dr. David Shields of Shields Chiropractic submitted the following case study:  I recently treated a old patient that I hadn’t seen for approximately 10 years. Her mother called me and related that her daughter had been in a horrible motor vehicle roll-over accident and had suffered a Jefferson Burst. This is an exploding fracture of the Atlas Vertebra. Her daughter had been life flighted to a trauma center in Morgantown West Virginia where she was sedated and a full neck/head halo was prescribed and applied to stabilize the fracture and prevent severing of the spinal cord. After 10 days in the hospital her daughter had been discharged but after she had been weaned from the heavy narcotics she developed severe low back pain with sciatica. Her mother asked me “was there anything I could do to help her pain”. That Sunday I packed up my portable table and my new Chattanooga Vectra Pro-4 Combo stim unit and drove two hours to Ohiopyle, PA from my office in Greensburg. When I got there the first comment she made was about how folicly challenged I had become in the last ten years. (The darn things patient’s come up with !) Despite this, I set up my Pro-4 and portable table and assisted her onto the table. My first concern was to put the fire out so I used Chattanooga’s 4-pad acute pain control protocol which utilizes IFC for 30 minutes. After that I did approximately 15 minutes of myofascial release to her low back and sciatic area. After the myofascial release work I applied a 30 minute programmed sequence with the Pro-4 which included a Premodulated nerve block at the L-4/5 area and then High-Volt to her left low back to reduce the inflammation. While this was going on I utilized the low-back ultrasound protocol to improve circulation. After an hour and a half I packed up and went home.
That following Wednesday I called to check on her progress. She related that she had total relief of her low-back and sciatic symptoms. It amazes me how effective protocol based therapy can be even on the most severe cases. My thanks to the Chattanooga Group & Bryanne Enterprises!

4.  Dr. John Wohar from Monessen, PA submitted this case where a patient presented with an extremely swollen right arm due to an injury he sustained. Using a Chattanooga Vectra Pro-4, Dr. Wohar selected the circulatory protocol for the arm from the built-in Clinical Protocols. Treatment was given for one week with the twin-peak hi-volt set according to protocol and the result was a “miracle”. As we all know, the good Lord definitely inspired the folks at Chattanooga when they invented the Clinical Protocol Interface in the Vectra. Thanks Dr. Wohar for sharing this great example of electro-therapy THAT WORKS !

5. Dr. David Grossi of Advanced Chiropractic submitted the following case study:  The patient presented suffering with several month’s of left knee pain with marked edema. The patient reported that she had to negotiate the stairs in her home on hands and knees. The patient’s orthopedic surgeon gave the patient medications and indicated that surgery may be necessary. X-rays revealed near total obliteration of medial joint-space. Ice, liniment, and rest failed to bring the patient any noticeable relief. She had also been taking glucosamine for years with out benefit. Patient had been on and intense multi-modal adjustment program.
TREATMENT:
The patient was started on an intensive electrotherapy regime including clinical protocol for pain and edema. Patient was treated using the Chattanooga CPS Premodulated Waveform for Chronic Knee twice a day, daily for two weeks with a 2 channel 4 pad application for 25 minutes each session. Ultrasound was applied for 8 minutes then cryotherapy was applied.
RESULT:
After 3 weeks the patient was smiling, happy and ambulatory. Follow-up included 6 weeks of active care utilizing Synergy Rehab. Patient reports that she is almost as good as new!

6.  Dr. Michael Ernesty submitted the following case study:  We had a 48 year old male present to our office on a Friday afternoon. He works as a engineer which requires mostly desk work, but as he was installing a new engine into his car at home he tried to “muscle” the engine into position by himself. He felt his low back “pop”. When he got to our office a few hours later he couldn’t drive, walk without assistance or even stand up straight. Low back radiographs showed total straightening of the lumbar lordosis and a double P.I. pelvis. The muscular strain was causing severe pain and stiffness. Low back range of motion was 10 degrees flexion, 5 degrees extension, 15 degrees left lateral flexion, 5 degrees right lateral flexion and 0 degrees of rotation.  We used our Vectra on him the first day with the interferential protocol for acute pain control for 30 minutes. The following morning we treated him with the interferential protocol for acute pain for 15 minutes and then used the VMS spasm control protocol over the lumbar paraspinals for 15 minutes and adjusted him utilizing table drops. On Monday (2 days later) he presented asymptomatic for pain with low back range of motion (in degrees) 70-flexion, 30-extension, 30-left lateral flexion, 25-right lateral flexion. It was literally a miracle for him and after completing a full 3 phase active low back rehabilitation program, is free of the daily back pain he suffered for the last 15 years. Thank you Bryanne Enterprises!!

DON'T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT!

Listen to what your colleagues are saying about

Bryanne Enterprises, Inc.

I just wanted to inform you of the wonderful service and follow-up of Bryanne Enterprises.  You are very fortunate to have such a responsible and professional representative for your company.  If it was not for Bryanne Enterprises I would have purchased my equipment from someone else.  Whenever I call they are always available for assistance in any way, shape, or form.

Very truly yours,

Arnold B. Weinberg, D.C.

Thanks Chattanooga Group! The first affordable and effective device that creates true axial decompression. Patients love it ... we are getting quicker, more positive results from patient's who have responded slowly to traditional care.

Alfred L. Madeira, D.C. Chambersburg, PA

Since the first week, we've had a steady stream of new patients who have been helped with this therapy. From Carpal Tunnel to radiating leg and arm pain from cervical and lumbar disc lesions, it helps facilitate healing with almost everyone.

Darron A. Erdman, D.C. Mifflinburg, PA

Decompression Therapy has given me new confidence in successfully treating lesions which were far more challenging in the past. Spondylolisthesis, disc protrusions and facet syndromes now get lasting relief, not just short term patch-up.

Steven Antinoro, D.C. Windber, PA

Since adding Decompression Therapy MY PATIENT VOLUME HAS DOUBLED ! I am getting more referrals because the results occur much faster. The addition of Decompression Therapy as well as the rehabilitation protocols with the Stabilizer and Back Builder has resulted in increased
revenue for the practice.

Richard Ross, D.C. Johnstown, PA

Decompression Therapy is a great asset and an excellent option for those cases that don't get better with other forms of passive care. Within the first 60 days since advertising this therapy I got 74 new patients. My patients love it !

Michael Dunigan, D.C. Shamokin Dam, PA

I just thought I would share my enthusiasm with you.  I have had awesome results in just two days working with the DTS.  I began yesterday with my first patients who have been in a lot of pain for a couple of weeks along with really large herniated discs documented by MRI’s I had recently ordered.  They have all improved and two of them have had upwards of fifty percent improvement after only two sessions working only at the start weights.

We are really psyched up about the potential we have with this treatment option.  I just wanted to say thanks so much for your efforts to get it to us quickly and for all of your support thus far.  Our clinical representative was very helpful and his training session was practical and educational, as well as fun.  My brother is a PT and he sat in for some of the training and he was equally impressed.  Again, I really want to thank you and I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

Kyle Werkheiser, D.C.

I just wanted you to know that I am very pleased with the quick response and high level of support your company provides for equipment purchases.  I sincerely appreciate the professional and caring manner in which you conduct business and have recommended your company to others.

In today’s prevalent corporate mentality where no one is held accountable after a sale, your commitment to service is a true breath of fresh air and I look forward to doing business with you for years to come.

Jonathan Ewer, D.C.

I wanted to take a moment and thank you in what you are doing for the profession.  So many vendors do not follow up.  You on the other hand continue with seminars and are always there for any questions.  I’m sure I not only speak for myself but for those many people you sell equipment to.  That I appreciate what you do and will continue to support you in any way I can.  I am also going to take advantage of your new laser combination when that is available.

By the way, keep me on the list for seminars although it’s a four hour drive each way I use the quiet time to catch up on audio tapes and CD’s I do not fully listen to during the week.  Keep up the great work.

Charles J Grim, D.C.

I would like to take the time to thank you for all your guidance over the past few months.  I have learned so much from all of you and because of you I believe you are directing me in a better direction.  Back in October, Rob Brown told me to talk to you and emphasized that you would not only explain the equipment, but also provide the best way to use it.  I did not check out any other equipment places or prices because knowing I could get one on one service was very important to me.  When meeting with you in late October you did not push anything on me.  You attracted me to all you had to offer and that is why I have many new items in my office.

This has opened up several new doors which had added excitement to the patients.  Donna has worked for me for over ten years and I think my chiropractic approach was getting stale.  I have noticed over the past few months how her excitement has grown.  This has not only helped her branch out, but has given her a chance to make more income.  This appears to be a win-win situation for all of us.  Now I realize that change is important and I should have consulted with you many years earlier, thankfully I did consult you.  I appreciate all the seminars you offer and plan to attend the March events.  I have been looking forward to the Rehab, but heard it is put on hold.  I also appreciate the ability to call you.  You have always been so helpful.  Have a great week and know that you are appreciated!!!

Thank you so much for a most enjoyable seminar last Thursday.  I especially enjoyed the fact that you had a syllabus - it was adhered to as much as you can adhere to any syllabus when you have 40 chiropractors in the same room.  The information was relevant and germane to better utilization of the decompression table.

Also, thank you very much for an enjoyable lunch.  I look forward to attending your educational seminars in the future.  If I can be of any assistance to you in any way, do not hesitate to contact me.

Dennis Ridenour, D.C.

I’ve only had the Triton DTS for less than 3 weeks and the table has already paid for itself, in fact, almost two times over!  I cannot wait to REALLY begin to market this device.  The 6 or so patients that are actively using this machine, all of them…are amazed that there is finally a machine that can help them with their chronic pain without any more drugs, or any surgery.  I can’t tell you the long term results because my Triton is brand new, but hopefully, their results will be “normal” for me in a few months.  As for now, it’s got me impressed!

As a side note…Your advanced seminars that you put on has allowed our office to have much more confidence than we would have, with just one in-house office demonstration.  Thank you for caring about your clients that have already bought the product.  You have shown you are a caring group that will go the extra yard to help your clients, so we can go the extra yard to help our clients…Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Dr. Phil

Thanks for the seminar, information & extra help that you’ve given me.  I truly appreciate it.  Looking forward to seeing you again!

  LEARNING CENTER

 Dedication  October 2005

Dear Geoff,

Thanks so much for including me in your special day last week.  I was very flattered, but very humbled by the kind words you spoke about me.

Your Dad would be very proud of what you have accomplished in such a short period of time.  Most importantly, knowing your Dad, he would be most proud of how you have achieved your goals to this point: with integrity and supreme customer service to the Doc’s you service.

The real focus Geoff, is no matter how big your business gets, never lose sight of the principles that you utilized when you started the business from day one.

Best Wishes,

Dr. Dennis Ridenour

Geoff & Lori,

Thank you so much for including me in the celebration of the opening of the new learning center.  It is a very impressive facility and I am sure will benefit many people directly and indirectly as well.  It was wonderful to get a taste of what you do and experience your passion for helping others.

May God continue to bless you in all you do.

Dear Geoff & Lori,

I can hardly express my heart-felt gratitude towards you both for allowing me to attend the dedication of the Dr. Frederic J. Miscoe Learning Center this past week.  I’m honored, as everyone was, to have been a part of the celebration of your father’s life and legacy.

The addition of being recognized during your presentation was unexpected, and greatly appreciated.  I can only hope and pray that my contribution to the cause is a fraction as significant as your has been.

I’m grateful to both of you for your guidance and support in my efforts toward the betterment and professionalism of the chiropractic profession…in whatever way I can contribute.  I’m proud to be associated with your company!  Thank you again for allowing me to celebrate the occasion.

God Bless,

Fritz Kerr

Geoff, Lori & Bryanne,

I did not have a chance to say thank you for the invitation to your company back in October but I wanted to say THANK YOU and I was extremely impressed with what Bryanne Enterprises has accomplished.

With the visit came new insight on an extremely “well-oiled machine” and how a business can be successfully operated in this industry.  The experience will always be remembered and appreciated.

Thanks again for the opportunity to understand and see first hand your operation from the inside and I hope you all have a safe and prosperous Thanksgiving Holiday.

Best regards,
